Art Show And Sale, This Weekend

At Meeting House

The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown (SCAN) 2011 Fall Art Show & Sale will be held at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street, from Friday, October 21, until Sunday, October 23. The public is invited to visit the show each day between 10 am and 5 pm.

In addition, an opening reception will be hosted by SCAN on Friday evening from 6 to 8. Many of the show’s participating artists will be in attendance.

This annual fall art exhibition and sale will showcase original artwork by local artists. Proceeds will benefit The Society of Creative Arts of Newtown, a regional nonprofit arts organization that provides training and advocates for member artists and connects the community to the arts.
