Young Writers’ Salon At

Booth Library

‘Tweens and teens who like to write are invited to sign up for Booth Library’s Young Writers’ Salon, the third annual evening of readings by young people in grades 6-12. The program is being expanded this year to include both poetry and other original creative writing.

Readings will begin at 7 pm on Friday, November 4.

Participants should register and submit their work by Tuesday, November 1. There will be a rehearsal with pizza at 5 pm on the day of the program.

The Newtown community is invited to attend and be a part of the admiring audience, and marvel at the talent of our young adults.  Refreshments will be served in a coffeehouse atmosphere.
