Vermontâs Premier Choral Ensemble
At Trinity Episcopal Church
The Music at Trinity free community concert series will continue with a performance of choral music of diverse styles ranging from classical to folk by Counterpoint on Sunday, October 23.
Led by esteemed choral conductor Robert De Cormier, Counterpoint is truly Vermontâs and perhaps New Englandâs premier vocal ensemble.
Mr De Cormier is director emeritus of New York Choral Society and musical director for the folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary.
Mr De Cormier and Counterpoint have received numerous awards and recognition including Vermont House Resolution 213 which stated Counterpoint has âdelighted and impressed audiences with the amazing diversity of its musical offerings and the highly professional quality of its performances.â
The concert will begin at 3 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church, 36 Main Street in Newtown. There will be a reception following the concert.
Freewill donations (suggested Counterpoint donation, $15) will support the continuance of the Music at Trinity concert program.
