The Chamber of Commerce of Newtown announced that A Taste of Newtown will be part of this year’s Destination Newtown Business Showcase on November 9.

“A Taste of Newtown was such a big hit at last year’s showcase. With so many new restaurants coming into town, it is getting harder to keep up. A Taste of Newtown brings these places together, in one place, where the community can sample their products, while meeting the people behind the scenes,” states, Chamber President Pat Linnell.

This year A Taste of Newtown will include samples from Newtown Deli & Catering, Franco’s Pizza, the Fireside Inn, My Place Restaurant, and a special addition from McLaughlin Vineyards, where samples will include a taste of their fine wines.

Destination Newtown, sponsored by Curtis Packaging, Newtown Savings Bank, and Taunton Press, will be held at the Fireside Inn on November 9 from 4 to 8 pm. The community is invited and there is no charge to attend.
