DANBURY â âUnderstanding Chronic Kidney Diseaseâ will be the topic for discussion at the first Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meeting to be conducted during the month of November. The program will take place on Tuesday, November 1, at 7 pm.
Featured speaker is Howard Garfinkel, MD, who is an attending physician in the Danbury Hospital Department of Medicine, and chief of the Section of Nephrology & Hypertension. He is also an associate clinical professor of medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine and a physician member of the Danbury office of Physician Services, PC.
Dr Garfinkel will address the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease, and why it is so important for people to control obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and cholesterol.
Danbury Hospital Medical Town Meetings take place in the John C. Creasy Center for Health Education auditorium at Danbury Hospital from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Park free in the Blue Visitorâs parking lot, Hospital Avenue entrance.
