Erica M. Forde, daughter of David and Janet Forde of Sandy Hook, and Stephen Kowalski, son of Jerry and Patricia Kowalski of Bethlehem, Conn., were married May 21 at The Fox Hill Inn, Brookfield, with Justice of the Peace Mary Pugh officiating.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a Private Label by G strapless, satin gown. The dress was embellished with Alenconlace and had a chapel train. She carried a bouquet of a cascade of lilies.
Margaret Giammattei, sister of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Anna Nelmes, Bethlehem, Aileen Hollander, Danbury, and Melissa Beard, Newtown. The attendantsâ dresses were strapless princess-line satin by Alfred Angelo with crystal beaded and metallic embroidered bodices. They carried handheld lilies.
Keith Kowalski, brother of the bride, was the best man. Ushers were Bob Wolff, Woodbury, and Rich Giammattei, Newington.
A reception in honor of the couple was held at The Fox Hill Inn.
The bride is a graduate of Nonnewaug High School and Fairfield University. She is employed as a financial analyst for IBM in Southbury.
The groom graduated from Nonnewaug High School and University of Connecticut. He is a test facility engineer supervisor at FuelCell Energy in Danbury.
After a western Caribbean cruise, the couple is at home in Woodbury.
