Embarrassed And Angry

To the Editor:

We have never been so embarrassed or angered after reading the Hoffmeister letter in last Friday’s Bee. How nice it must be to breathe that rarified air.

Quite frankly we have always been proud to live in a town where children could play on Main Street. 

If you are coming to our side of town, please call ahead so our neighborhood can tidy up first.  Since our property probably isn’t up to the standards set forth in your letter last week, we would also be interested in receiving assistance from the town.

If only we could all live in an ivory tower.
