Town Hall Evacuation

Edmond Town Hall employees were ordered to evacuate the building Thursday morning due to a power outage caused by power line work on Main Street. Generators did restore power, however, there was still a threat of a transformer explosion due to a control panel problem. Hook & Ladder Fire Company responded to the scene and an electrical contractor repaired the control panel by 9 am. Employees were soon back at work.      –Bee Photo, Bigham
