Marijuana

Police said that while on patrol on a dirt road in a wooded area near Riverview Condominiums they encountered a vehicle in which a passenger had a small amount of marijuana about 6:30 pm October 20. Police charged Jason Esposito, 18, of Southbury with possession of marijuana. Esposito was released on a promise to appear in court November 4.

Evading Responsibility

Police report that while he was driving through the intersection of Glen Road and Washington Avenue about 10 pm October 19 in a 1988 Jeep Cherokee, Wayne DuBail, 37, of Monroe was struck by a pickup truck. The truck then left the scene.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
