To the Editor:

The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library would like to thank the greater Newtown community for their generous support. Sunday October 16th was a picture-perfect day for the Friends’ annual fall donation event. Under a glorious blue sky, Friends volunteers collected an unprecedented number of donated books, toys, puzzles, and other sundries.

Many of the items will be available for purchase at the Friends Little Book Store and the Annual Holiday Sale which will be held at the C.H. Booth Library on December 3rd and 4th. Proceeds from these sales enable the Friends to support the C.H. Booth Library’s purchase of materials, online platforms, programming, and other patron services.

Again, sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to participate in Fall Donation Day, 2022!

I would also like to send our appreciation to the C.H. Booth Library and The Newtown Bee for their constant support.
