The Second Company Governor’s Horse Guard (2GHG) invites all equestrians to participate in its Annual Fall Trail Ride.

Sponsored by the Friends of 2GHG, the annual ride will be held on Saturday, November 1, from 9 am to 12 noon. The ride is on beautiful trails that cover more than 80 acres in Newtown. It begins at the Horse Guard facility, 4 Wildlife Drive within Fairfield Hills. There are no water crossings.

All riders must have a negative Coggins certificate for each horse that is brought onto the property, and are encouraged to wear safety helmets. Riders under 18 years of age must have their registration form signed by their parent or guardian.

Registration forms are available for download at and a $30 per rider donation is suggested. All proceeds will benefit the horses of 2GHG.www.thehorseguard.org
