Workshop For Business Women

DANBURY — A Workshop for Women Entrepreneurs on the elements of successful marketing will be held on Friday, October 29, from 8 am to 12:30 pm at the Western Connecticut State University’s Ancell School of Business.

The workshop is sponsored by the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE).

Deborah Polydys, owner and founder of Strategic Management Resources, LLC, will speak on the topic of marketing.  Founded in 1985, her business advisory firm works with closely held companies.

George Bernard, a graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and the most tenured SCORE member in the greater Danbury area, will discuss business plans.

The moderator will be Jean Doerr of Score in Milford.

Admission is free. Refreshments will be served. The Ancell School of Business is on the Westside Campus off the Lake Avenue Extension (I-84, Exit 4). The workshop is in room 127.
