CHIEFS (-1) at RAVENS: Right after I pick up Rashan Shehee for my Fantasy Football team, Bam Morris returns to the team after being injured. Man, I can't catch a break. (KH - Chiefs, SB - Ravens)

CHIEFS (-1) at RAVENS: Right after I pick up Rashan Shehee for my Fantasy Football team, Bam Morris returns to the team after being injured. Man, I can’t catch a break. (KH – Chiefs, SB – Ravens)

SUNDAY

FORTY-NINERS (+7) at MINNESOTA: Even with the state that the Niners find themselves in now, I don’t have enough confidence in the Minnesota offense to be handing over seven points. (KH – Forty Niners, SB – Forty Niners)

DENVER (+3) at NEW ENGLAND: The Patriots are one of those teams who look a lot better in the standings than they really are. Remember, the Pats have won three games at the last second (and, of course, they have also lost one at the last second). (KH – Broncos; SB – Broncos)

WASHINGTON (+3.5) at DALLAS: Judging from the way the Cowboys played against the lowly Giants on Monday night, there is no way they come back against the ‘Skins this time. (KH – Redskins; SB – Cowboys)

NEW ORLEANS (+2.5) at NEW YORK GIANTS: This is a game the Giants should win and, hence, will lose. (KH – Saints; SB – Giants)

CHICAGO (+8) at TAMPA BAY: Okay, just when I had confidence in the Bears they go and get beat by Philadelphia – Philadelphia for crying out loud! (KH – Buccaneers; SB – Bears)

PHILADELPHIA (no line) at MIAMI: The reason this game has no line is because no one knows if Dan Marino is going to play. But that guy Huard is good enough it seems to beat the Eagles. (KH – Dolphins; SB – Dolphins)

DETROIT (+4.5) at CAROLINA: This Steve Beurlein guy is turning into a pretty good quarterback, huh? At least in this watered down version of the NFL, that is. (KH -–Panthers; SB – Lions)

CINCINATTI (+11.5) at INDIANAPOLIS: Akili Smith is looking like the real deal for the Bengals, but Peyton Manning will lay some serious waste to the Bengals this week. (KH – Colts; SB – Bengals)

CLEVELAND (+19) at ST. LOUIS: A sane man would shy away from handing over this many points, but judging from the way things have gone so far this year there hasn’t been a bigger mismatch in years. (KH – Rams; SB – Browns)

GREEN BAY (-3) at SAN DIEGO: That loss last week to the Broncos was a fluke. Brett Favre will be back. (KH – Packers; SB – Chargers)

NEW YORK JETS (+6.5) at OAKLAND: Can Ray Lucas perform again? My guess is, no. (KH – RAIDERS; SB – Jets)

BUFFALO (-2.5) at SEATTLE: Okay, I don’t think I much understand this line, but there has to be a reason the odds dudes want me to jump on Buffalo, so naturally I’m going to say . . . (KH – Seahawks; SB – Bills)

MONDAY NIGHT

ATLANTA (+5) at PITTSBURGH: The Steelers have always been a good Monday night football team . . . haven’t they? Or am I thinking about the Raiders? Oh, who cares? (KH – Steelers; SB – Steelers)
