Local elections can make a significant difference in our quality of life and knowing about the candidates running for office is paramount.

Neil Chaudhary has been a member of the Police Commission since 2019 and is a public safety professional with over 20 years’ experience working across the country. That experience gives the Police Commission an important skill set that few residents can boast.

I first worked with Neil when we both served on the Legislative Council, where I found him to be professional, thoughtful, and engaged. He’s served our community in too many ways to count but all focused on making Newtown a better, safer place to live.

As our community continues to grow, traffic and community safety will become increasingly important. Neil’s experience with the CT DOT, local and national law enforcement agencies and his engagement in all the latest public safety issues means the commission will always have up-to-date information on issues they grapple with daily.

As a candidate with the Forward Party, Neil has signaled that the partisanship that has gripped our community and our nation is not for him. Please join me in supporting Neil when you vote on Tuesday, November 7th.
