Rose L. Oliver

Rose L. Oliver, 58, of Brookfield, died October 15, at Masonicare at Newtown. She was born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., August 14, 1954, a daughter of Mary (Garabaldi) and Mark Porwitzky. Ms Oliver was raised in Newtown and was a graduate of Newtown High School, Class of 1972.

Two sons, Richard Oliver of Winchester and Steven Oliver of Brookfield, and two grandsons survive Ms Oliver.

She worked for many years in the kitchen at Fairfield Hills Hospital, until it closed. She then was a homecare provider in private homes.

A memorial gathering will be held in the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, Monday, October 22, from 5 to 7 pm.
