Program To Address The Adolescent Mind

Dr Elizabeth Jorgensen, CADC, of Insight Counseling in Ridgefield, will present a free program, “Understanding the Teenage Mind: How To Communicate And Parent Effectively With The Developing Adolescent Brain,” on Wednesday, November 7, at 7 pm, at C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. 

Dr Jorgensen will bring more than 25 years of experience specializing in assessment and counseling with adolescents and parents for a program that will provide practical advice, peppered with her wisdom and humor.

The event is sponsored by Newtown Prevention Council and will also kick off the debut of the Parent Resources Collection the council has donated to the library, which can be found on the third floor.
