Failure To Connect

To the Editor:

There was power outage this evening, October 11, here in Sandy Hook. I tried to report it [to] CL&P’s 800 phone number, but it did not work probably cause I have AT&T. Anyway, I have all important phone numbers ready to punch it. However, that didn’t work.

I just wanted to get the power outage reported, and I was connected to Newtown 911 by others. The gentlemen at Newtown 911 was not happy to receive my plea. I am an senior person, a taxpayer/voter and combat warrior who expects a fair bang for my buck, which I’ll never get in Newtown, I very disappointed by Newtown 911.
