Blanche Eleanor Naidich

Blanche Eleanor Naidich, born on November 16, 1922, in New York City, died at Bethel Health Center, October 8.

Two daughters, Michelle Tenenbaum, and her husband Steven, of Newtown and Donna Naidich of New York City; and three grandchildren, Elana, Joshua, and Hannah, survive Mrs Naidich.

She was predeceased by her husband, Seymour Naidich; as well as her three siblings, Harold Liff, Saul Lipshutz, and Ruth Lieberman.

Mrs Naidich grew up in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, one of four siblings. She attended Girls Commercial High School in Brooklyn. She was in the accounting club and served as the assistant manager of the school publication. She was employed as a bookkeeper for many years.

She married Seymour Naidich in 1948 and raised her family in Plainview, N.Y. Mrs Naidich was known as the quintessential homemaker, who gained recognition for her baking and cooking, sewing, and afghan crocheting. She was an avid reader, actively participating in events at the Plainview Public Library.

Mrs Naidich was a loyal and caring friend who exemplified kindness and generosity in all of her actions. She will be sorely missed by her cousins, nieces, children, grandchildren, friends, and neighbors.

A graveside service took place October 11 at Beth Moses Cemetery, Pinelawn, N.Y.
