Antonio G.    DeOliveira

Antonio G. DeOliveira, 79, of Stratford, died October 15, in St Vincent Medical Center, Bridgeport, with his loving family by his side. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, May 6, 1933, he was the son of Maria Goncalves and Raul Carmo Oliveira.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Maria Ivone Oliveira; his loving children Raul DeOliveira, and wife Dora, of Sandy Hook and Maria Albertina Oliveira of Atlanta, Ga.; five cherished and loving grandchildren; his sister, Olinda Coelho of Bridgeport; and several niece, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister and brother, Albertina Goncalves and Jose Goncalves.

Mr DeOliveira was a member of the Vasco da Gama Club in Bridgeport and was a retired engineer for Avco Lycoming Co. in Stratford.

Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, October 19, at 9:30 am, in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, and at 10:30 am, in St Augustine Cathedral, 359 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will be in St Michael Cemetery, Garden Mausoleum, Stratford. Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, October 18, from 5 to 8 pm, in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home.
