Not Buying It

To the Editor:

Perhaps the IPN (Independent Party of Newtown) should be called DOS (Disgruntled Office Seekers). Many of their candidates were rejected by the parties in which they remain registered for positions on the fall ballot. Seven of “their” candidates are Republicans, four Democrats.

This charade — on top of their closed meetings and privately crafted platform — hardly bespeaks their much self-proclaimed “transparency” in the electoral process.

I’m not buying this scam. I’ll be voting for the proven performance of Herb Rosenthal, Joe Bojnowski, and nothing-to-hide Democrats and Republicans who have contributed to the effective, bipartisan government we have enjoyed.
