Halloween Fun At The Library

Children from toddlers to age 7, with a parent, are invited to attend the Halloween Fun for Kids party on Sunday, October 28, from 2 to 3:30 pm, at C.H. Booth Library.

’Tweens and Teens Young Adult Council members will read Halloween stories, play games, and lead simple crafts for the young ghosts and goblins. Children can make their own trick-or-treat bag. Costumes are encouraged.

At 3 pm The Mask & Wig Players will perform skits, including “The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything,” based on the book by Linda Williams. This classic tale and the humor of a little old lady’s fearless attitude and her clever solution as to what to do with the lively shoes, pants, shirt, and pumpkin head that are chasing her is a favorite of young audiences.

No registration is necessary to come and have some Halloween fun. For more information, call Margaret Brown, young adult librarian, at 426-4533.
