College Representatives To Visit Newtown High School

As leaves change color and carpet the ground, high school juniors and seniors find their minds occupied by thoughts of college visits, essays, test scores, and applications. Newtown High School Guidance Department arranges visits from college representatives at the school so students can learn about options for higher education.

Following is the schedule of upcoming visits from college representatives. Students interested in particular schools can sign up in the Career Center to attend a presentation.

Tuesday, October 23: Le Moyne College, 8 am; University of New Haven, 11:30 am; New York University, 1 pm.

Wednesday, October 24: Quinnipiac University, 9 am; Thomas College, 11 am.

Thursday, October 25: University of Rhode Island, 8:30 am; Johnson & Wales University, 10:30 am; Radford University, 1 pm.

Friday, October 26: Norwalk Community College, 11 am; Landmark College, 11:45 am; Saint Anselm College, 1 pm.

Monday, October 29: Albertus Magnus College, 10:30 am.

Tuesday, October 30: Hartwick College, 8 am; Mount Holyoke College, 8:45 am.

Wednesday, October 31: Marist College, 8:30 am; Monmouth University, 10 am; Tufts University, 1 pm.

Thursday, November 1: Arcadia University, 11 am.

Friday, November 2: Nazareth College of Rochester, 8:30 am; King’s College, 10:30 am.

Monday, November 5: Lafayette College, 8:15 am; Assumption College, 11:15 am; Eastern Connecticut State University, noon.

Wednesday, November 7: University of Hartford, 9:30 am; Wheaton College, 11 am.

Friday, November 9: New England College, noon; Simmons College, 1 pm.
