With Alzheimer’s, Dementia 

The Homesteads at Newtown is sponsoring a free seminar for caregivers of people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

The seminar is open to the public and will start at 6 pm on Sunday, October 21. Light food and refreshments will be served.

The topic is “Nutrition and Weight in the Dementia Resident,” to be presented by Cecelia James, PHD, APRN. Ms James is the supervising nurse at The Homesteads. She will discuss problems associated with providing the proper nutrition and preventing weight gains or losses.
