UConn Waterbury Info Session

WATERBURY — The University of Connecticut at Waterbury will be hosting two fall information sessions on the Hillside Campus, 32 Hillside Avenue, on Wednesday, November 1, and Thursday, November 16, for prospective students and their families.

The open house begins in the Hi-Tech Room of the Science and Engineering Building at 6:30 pm. This program is for anyone interested in programs at the Waterbury Campus including high school seniors and their families, transfer students, and those interested in summer school, continuing education, bachelor of general studies, and non-degree study.

“I encourage people interested in knowing more about UConn degree programs to use this evening to get acquainted with our course offerings and our campus,” said Frances Brennan, director of the Waterbury Campus. “The Information Sessions are a wonderful way for prospective students to meet faculty and staff and to ask questions directly.”

There will also be extensive tours of the campus and its facilities. “Students and their families will be provided a firsthand look at one of the best kept secrets in the state,” stated Dr Stuart J. Brown, Assistant Dean of Students. “The cost factor alone makes it one of the best buys for higher education in Connecticut.”

In addition to meeting with campus personnel, prospective undergraduates and their parents will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from the Office of Financial Aid and the Office of Admissions. Refreshments will be served. Participants need to RSVP at 203/236-9800 for either date.
