Chase Offers

 New Service

NEW YORK, NY – The Chase Manhattan Bank has launched a Web site service that enables both customers and non-customers nationwide to order any one of 75 different foreign currencies and travelers cheques online with no fees or commissions for next-day delivery.

Chase’s service, called “Currency to Go,” is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for delivery to either travelers’ homes or any Chase branch by visiting www.currency-to-go.com. “Currency to Go” is also available to order via telephone 1-888-Chase84.

“When you’re traveling overseas, the last thing you want to do is stand in line at the airport to get currency when you arrive, or search for a local bank,” said Beth Hirschhorn, senior vice president. “Now, by simply visiting currency-to-go.com, travelers can arrive at their destination with local currency for taxis, tips or a quick meal. And they don’t have to be a Chase customer.”

When visiting currency-to-go.com, travelers can get current exchange rates, perform rate calculations and order any one of 75 different foreign currencies. “Currency to Go” offers competitive exchange rates with no exchange fees or commissions. Travelers can pay by credit card; Chase customers can also pay by debiting their deposit accounts. Home delivery is free for orders of $500 or more, with a $10 shipping charge for orders below that amount. It travelers are planning to visit several countries, they can order up to six different currencies.
