GREY FOG 10, TROY BOYS 4: Patrick Stein, Jessie Tonucci and Anthony Csizmadia played well for the Fog while Tommy Merrifield, Josh Barron, Kevin Bonacci and Julian Wahlberg led the Boys.

NEWTOWN SOUTH 6, BROOKFIELD NORTH 5: Newtown avenged an earlier-season, one-run loss to Brookfield with a win in extra innings. Losing 5-4, Rylan McCollumn stole home with two outs to seal a tie and send the game to extra frames. After Matt Myslewski held Brookfield scoreless in the top half, in the bottom half Jake Maher drew a walk, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt from Scott Newberry, moved to third on a wild pitch, and then scored on a solid single by Anthony Santella. Newtown South improved to 7-2.
NEWTOWN SOUTH 14, BROOKFIELD SOUTH 2: Ronnie Shimko, Scott Newberry, Joe DeFeo and Matt Myslewski combined on a no-hitter to stifle Brookfield. Stephen Lamb led the offense with three hits and five RBI. Adam Miller led the defense.
NEWTOWN SOUTH 18, BETHEL NORTH 6: Anthony Santella rapped out a pair of base hits while Scott Newberry and Matt Myslewski each pitched two solid innings to lead Newtown to the win. Stephen Lamb led the defense.
13-15 Year Olds
NEWTOWN JUNIOR WEST 4, DANBURY JUNIOR EAST 1: Joe Gantert spun a two-hitter, allowing just one run while walking two and striking out 10 to lead Newtown to the win. The infield of Doug Bonjour, Ted Rocca, Greg Williams and Ross Alpert played errorless defense to help out in the effort. Newtown only collected four hits, but all did damage. Ron Isler doubled in a run in the first; Alex Rode singled, stole second and third, and scored on a Bonjour infield grounder in the third; Rocca walked in the fourth, stole second, and scored on a Gantert single in the fourth; and Chris Marsden walked, stole second, and scored on a Tyler Hull single in the sixth.
