To the Editor:

I am writing to endorse Mr Neil Chaudhary in his run for Police Commissioner. I came to know Neil through our work together on the Fairfield Hills Master Plan Review Committee, which he co-chaired. I found him to be a fair and capable individual who clearly cares for our town. His area of professional expertise is in traffic safety, which is clearly in the purview of the position he seeks.

As an Emergency Physician at Danbury Hospital, I see every day first-hand the devastating injuries and deaths that occur on our roadways. Having a commissioner with his expertise and love of Newtown would be a positive for our community.
