Program On Kidney Disease

DANBURY — The Nelson Gelfman Dialysis Unit at Danbury Hospital is conducting a free patient education program for pre-dialysis patients on Friday, October 27, from 6 to 9:30 pm at Danbury Hospital’s cafeteria, located on the third floor of the South building. Park free in the blue parking lot, 24 Hospital Avenue.

This program is designed for diagnosed kidney disease patients and their families to teach them about the disease, dialysis, and transplant treatment options. Speakers include kidney patients from the community, a nephrologist (kidney specialists), registered nurses, social worker, and a registered dietitian.
