The bride is the daughter of Nicholas and Anita Rakochy.
The groom is the son of Jane Waitt of Stockbridge, Mass. and the late Weymer Waitt.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
The maid of honor was Anik Gibeau of Burlington, Vt.
The bridesmaid was Kathleen Danis, and the junior bridesmaid was India Bay Waitt. Samantha Ciarlo was the flower girl.
George A. Waitt of Cartersvilla, Ga. was best man.
The ushers were Weymer Hinckley Waitt of Stockbridge, Mass. and Theodore Rakochy of Burlington, Vt. Michael Ciarlo of Watertown was the ring bearer.
The bride graduated from Burlington High School and the University of Vermont. She is employed as a laboratory technician by the University of Vermont.
The groom graduated from Newtown High School and Paul Smithâs College. He is employed by Land Air Empress.
The reception was held in the Sunset Ballroom of the Holiday Inn, South Burlington, Vt.
Following a wedding trip to Captiva Island, Fla., Mr and Mrs Waitt are residing in Burlington, Vt.
