Girlsâ C/D Division
DYNAMITES 3, SHOOTING STARS 1: Christine Glander scored two goals and Aileen Kerns added one as the Dynamites defeated the Stars. Elaine McCafferty supported the offense and Christie Daniels played well in goal. For the Stars, Jessica Paynter scored the goal with assistance from Elizabeth Bowen. Sarah Gutbrod had some fines saves in goal.

Boysâ E Division
TIGERSHARKS 6, PYTHONS 1: Greg Hill, Brandon McGuinn, Anthony Florez, Jason Hanna, Bobby Davenport and Stephen Sapienza all scored to lead the Tigersharks to the win. For the Pythons, Sam Morrison and Kyle Hensel had strong games.
HURRICANES 4, ROCKETS 2: Andrew Meisel scored two goals while Josh Adams (off an awesome assist from Kyle Kromberg) and Daniel McSweeney scored one apiece to lead the âCanes to the win. For the Rockets, Gene Yllanes and Matt Hill both scored goals.
SCORPIONS 5, THUNDERBIRDS 0: Justin Carotti had a goal and two assists to lead the Scorpions to the win. Alistair Hayden scored two goals while Kyle Shevlin and Ryan Morrissey each had a goal. Ryan Huddock provided an assist. For the T-birds, Pat Daly, Patrick Keogh and Robbie Walrath all played well.
DOGNABBERS 4, WOLFPAKS 1: Mickey Fay and Matt Boland scored off feeds from Ethan Canfield while Connor McManus assisted Michael Kearns and Boland for the next two goals to lead the âNabbers to the win. Dan Quinn was solid in goal. For the Wolfpaks, Michael Hahn scored off a pass from Brian Hughes. Cody Cullens and Danny Curtis were strong on defense.
FLASH 5, TIMBERWOLVES 0: The Flash pressed the attack with Matthew Yakush scoring first, followed by two goals by Matthew Brede. In the second half, Thaddeus Adams and Kurt Nacewicz each added one. Alex Buethe was tenacious at Sweeper and Stephen Dworkin anchored the defense. For the Timberwolves, Libby Feltch, Colleen Thornberg, andSarah Truckle played well on defense.
Girlsâ E Division
FLYING PIGS 0, DRAGONS 0: Jennifer Brill, Allison Jagoe and Molly Murtha all played well for the Flying Pigs while Meghan Barbour, Katie-Rose McMultry and Christina Sanchez led the Dragons.
FLYING PIGS 1, WILDCATS 1: Christina Ercole scored a late goal to lift the Flying Pigs into a tie with the Wildcats. Sarah Murtha provided the offensive power while Nicole Aberico led the defense. For the âCats, Gabby Nastri scored the goal off an assist from Rail Nicolosi. Stacy Brougham played well on defense.
FLYING PIGS 1, TIMBERWOLVES 0: Sydney Russel and Emily Lockhart played well for the Flying Pigs as Meghan McCann scored the lone goal. Nicole Rivieccio and Eva Cerreta played well.
HURRICANES 2, DRAGONS 0: Laura Konkos and Sammy Ciaccia scored one goal apiece to lift the âCanes to the win. Michele Kukla and Katie Serock played well. For the Dragons, Melissa Paynter, Shaina Musco and Alyssa Schreckenghaust all had good games.
STRIKERS 5, BLUE DUCKS 0: Maggie Bouchell, Johanna Bombacci and Elizabeth LaPerch all scored to lead the Strikers past the Ducks. For the Ducks, Erin Daily, Christina Matz and Kelly McLaughlin had strong games.

Girlsâ F Division
TORNADOES 2, UNICORNS 0: Kate Bowen scored late in the third quarter to break a 0-0 tie and help lift the Tornadoes to the win. Chelsea Fay added an insurance goal. Molly Curry and Cassie David were outstanding on defense, sealing the shutout. For the Unicorns, Jessica Tonucci and Marianne Diffin both played superb in goal while Gretchen Hoffman and Taylor Smith also had good games.
TIGRESSES 1, TIMBERWOLVES 1: Natalie Villa of the Tigresses and Caleigh Boyle of the T-Wolves both scored in a game that ended in a deadlock. For the Tigresses, good goalkeeping from Laura Newberry and strong efforts from Katie OâDell and Kristen Stoller led the way. For the T-Wolves, Becky Lipnick, Ellen Tabler and Devon Ferris all had great games.
TIGRESSES 2, HURRICANES 0: Olivia Dillon scored the goals with a nice assist from Tori Boushell. Strong defense came from Michelle Davies and Stephanie Sanchez. For the âCanes, Kaley Kriger, Riley Stauffer, Genevieve Bleidner and Meredith LaPerch all played well.
Boysâ F Division
SCORPIONS 3, SENSATION 2: Chris Hogan, Steven Jaroszewski and Tyler Edwards scored one goal apiece as the Scorpions put a sting into the Sensation. Ethan Carotti had two assists while Mikey Tobin and Oskar Dean both played well on defense. For the Sensation, Brian Murphy and Jason Kostecki each scored a goal. Ryan Cahalane and Timmy Culligan had good games.
ROADRUNNERS 1, ROCKETS 0: Joseph Capiello scored the goal that lifted the Roadrunners to the win. Spencer Snell, Gary Frey, Kevin Leibold and Kyle Kimball provided solid defense. For the Rockets, Stephen Gumbrecht, Daniel Clement, Michael Hubbard and Jacon Ansari had strong games.
Girlsâ U10
NAVIGATORS 3, MIDDLEBURY 2: With less than three minutes to play, Navigator strikers Katie Kirrane and Rachel Maley scored back-to-back goals to lift their team to the win. Kirrane also scored at the seven-minute mark and then added the tying goal after Alana Bilangi forced a midfield turnover. A terrific pass from Ashley Braun created Maleyâs winning goal, a left-footed blast from 15 yards out. Caroline Kraich and Claire Ober anchored the defense while Bethany Morin continued her solid play in goal.
Boysâ U11
WOLCOTT 1, RAGE 0: The hustle of Nick Sando and the strong goaltending of Stephen Marks werenât enough to carry the Rage past Wolcott.
Girlsâ U11 Travel
Nitros 8, West Hartford 0: After a slow start at scoring, the Nitros finished out with an offensive attack provided by many different players. The sweep included two hard fought goals by Rachel Eastman and Rachael Perretta with another fine goal from Lindsay Weber. Offensive support also came from Sara Peters and Emma McHugh. Others scoring for the Nitros were Kyla Miles (2), Nicole Sieber (2), and Maggie DeMarco off a penalty kick.
Girls U-12 Travel
Rockets 4, Southbury 1: Tara Gaston saw a lot of action in goal in the Rocketsâ win over Southbury. Tori Thomas shared some goaltime in the second half. The Rocketsâ offense took much of the first half to rev their engines. It was Mary Grace Oberâs goal at the end of the half that sparked the Rocketsâ momentum. Mary Anders, Maria Cinquegrana and Alex Konneker then scored a goal apiece in the second half. Vicki Cardoso and Caitlin Hansen kept the midfield rolling. Erin Clark, Casey Frobey, Emily Fields, Megan Rawson and Jill Tanner held off Southbury like a defensive brick wall. The Rockets remain undefeated in league play.

CHESHIRE 1, KNOCKOUTS 0: The knockouts played a very even game against Cheshire allowing a late goal that resulted in the loss. Kristen Davis, Amanda Shevlin and Sarah Salbu played well on offense while Tara Ryan, Emma Mueller and Quincey Blanchard led the defense.
KNOCKOUTS 5, MIDDLEBURY 0: Goals were scored by Kelly Corrigan, Karoline Engel, Amy Doyle, Ashley LaRocque, and Middlebury scored an own goal to give the Knockouts the win. Stacy Shpunt and Kate Stickles lead the defense in the shutout.
Boysâ U14 Premier
STRIKERS 1, EASTER FC 0: Mike Vanasse found Matthew McFaddenâs crossing ball from the right end line and netted the only goal in the 32-minute mark of the first half. Peter Dittmar, Ryan Keogler and Brian Smith all shared time at center midfield while Chris Wolcott and David Kugielsky strengthened the wings. The midfield dominated the ball movement, which helped push the Striker attack. Nathan Walzer and Andrew Fiscella shared the goaltending duties and David Anderson was aggressive at stopper to lead the defense.
