Creepy Crawlies For Children At Flanders

WOODBURY — Flanders Nature Center invites children ages 4-5 and their parents or an adult guardian to enjoy “Creepy Crawlies,” a celebration of the Halloween season, on Saturday, October 30. From 10 am to noon, participants will learn about the wonderful worlds of the butterfly, ladybug, turtle, grasshopper and bumble bee. Using puppets and her gift for story telling, Vivian Grehan will widen eyes and expand the minds of young children with her knowledge and love of “creepy crawlies.”

Pre-registration is required; call Flanders at 263-3711. Cost is $5 per person. The program will be in the Van Vleck Farm Sanctuary’s Trail House; call Flanders for specific directions.
