To The Editor:

Jahana Hayes, Democratic Candidate for US House of Representatives is running as incumbent. Her opponent, Republican George Logan wants to appear as a moderate candidate, but not willing to lose his extremist support. Jahana Hayes deserves our vote.

With a headline titled “Republican Declines to Say Trump’s Name at Congressional Debate,” Newsweek reported that millions of nationwide Republican backed funds are paying for Connecticut advertising in an attempt to influence our election. Hayes responded that the US “has rebounded from the pandemic better than other nations, citing the country’s low unemployment rate.”

Hayes has consistently used social media to inform all of her constituents of important changes and opportunities. From her (x) twitter account, I recently learned that free COVID-19 test kits are again available from covidtest.gov and that the Republican initiative Project 2025 “threatens job safety, fair wages and working conditions” which explains why Connecticut unions are by and large, helping to re-elect Hayes. Hayes deserves our vote.

Election Day is November 5. Vote to re-elect Jahana Hayes for US House of Representatives.
