To The Editor:

I encourage the good people of Newtown to re-elect Mitch Bolinsky as the State Representative from the 106th District. For the last two years, I have had the privilege of working with Mitch in Hartford and seeing firsthand the work he has done to represent the interests of all the people of Newtown.

Mitch empathizes with us. He understands the challenges we face. He listens to our concerns at Town Forums and engages with constituents every day whether it be in person, on the phone or many times answering emails into the early hours of the morning.

Hard work is a way of life for him. I’ve seen him roll up his sleeves and spend countless hours drafting legislation and responding to constituent concerns.

Mitch knows that transparency and honesty build trust, so he provides clear explanations of his decisions.

He builds bridges, works across party lines, seeks common ground and finds consensus. He knows that unity is possible.

Mitch seeks improvements and gets results whether the topic is deteriorating infrastructure, education and our children’s safety, or care and living conditions for seniors.

While his opponents may attack him, he is resilient. He learns, adapts and keeps moving ahead.

Mitch is a dedicated public servant who cares about our entire community.

He’s not just a politician. He’s our representative! Let him know that his hard work and dedication haven’t gone unnoticed. Let’s unite to send Mitch back to Hartford. Please vote for our Representative, Mitch Bolinsky, on November 5th.
