Youngsters And Teens Invited To Take Flight With Young Eagles Program
OXFORD — Robotics And Beyond is collaborating with local Young Eagles volunteers to offer young people, ages 8-17, the opportunity to learn about aviation and airplanes, culminating in a plane ride on Saturday, October 24.
Participants can choose from a four-hour session in the morning or afternoon, which will take place at the Key Air Facility at Waterbury-Oxford Airport.
Cost is $20 to cover fuel, payable by cash or check to Lee Kraus upon arrival at the airport, 300 Christian Street in Oxford. Participants should park in the large lower lot (follow signs for Enterprise), then walk up the stairs to KeyAir.
A few openings remain but registration closes shortly.
To register print the document here; complete and scan the last two pages and e-mail to info@roboticsandbeyond.org.
The second registration option is to take the registration form to the airport on October 24, only if registration has been confirmed with Robotics And Beyond by email or phone (860-944-6175) by 8 pm Thursday, October 22.
