For anyone who has ever thought about becoming Catholic, St Rose of Lima Parish offers adults a path for doing just that.

RCIA — the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults — is the process by which adults become members of the Roman Catholic Church. The process is concerned with the total formation of the person into believing with the church community, living with the church community, praying with the church community, and serving with the church community.

RCIA stresses the need for a living experience of the church, and not just knowledge about the church. Although it includes instruction in the facts of the faith, RCIA guides candidates as they foster and develop their own relationships with God.

RCIA will begin with a Period of Inquiry starting Thursday, October 30.
