Programs At Nazareth Center

MONROE — The Nazareth Spiritual Life Center at Marian Heights will present programs for the family and for widows during the next week.

Marian Celebration 2000 will be held on Saturday, October 21, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the center, 1428 Monroe Turnpike. The event features Richard Bingold, nationally acclaimed inspirational Catholic Evangelist, who will give testimony of his conversion and lead healing prayers with the “Pilgrim Rosary,” and Marty Rotella, internationally known singer, composer, recording artist, and nominee for three Grammy awards for religious music. A free-will offering will be collected.

On Thursday, October 26, at 7 pm, author and lecturer Erika Papp Faber will present “God Sustains Widows,” a program of hope and encouragement for widows.

Ms Faber will discuss her personal experience as a widow, which inspired her to write God Sustains Widows and From Married to Widowed. In addition, she will give an account of the status of widows during Biblical times. A question and answer session will follow.

Ms Faber is a resident of Sandy Hook.
