Noted speaker and author Antoinette Bosco will be the featured speaker at the St Rose of Lima Benefit Communion Breakfast to be held on Saturday, November 4, in the parish hall.
The breakfast, which is open to the entire community, will be held after the 8 am Mass in the church.

Ms Bosco, who lives in Brookfield, is a former executive editor of The Litchfield County Times. An award-winning writer, her work has appeared in Womanâs Day, The Ladies Home Journal, Parade, and Readers Digest.
A mother of seven and grandmother of 15, Ms Bosco pursues what she calls âa personal ministry to help people who are suffering from loss.â The author has suffered the suicide of one son and the murder of another son and his wife.
She is a member of Survivors of Homicide and is an active worker in Murder Victims Families for Reconciliation. She also serves on the boards of Wisdom House in Litchfield and the Litchfield County Writers Project of the University of Connecticut in Torrington.
âI hope my words will bring new insights and hope, showing with stories and the wisdom of great leaders from the ages that faith really deals with soul-growth â the human problem of the ever moving and evolving relationship of humankind with something, someone, greater than ourselves,â she said.
Ms Bosco will be available after the breakfast to sign copies of her books.
The breakfast, catered by David Grant Caterers, will begin at approximately 8:45 am, following the 8 am Mass. Call 270-1318 to register by October 28 or for more information.
