To the Editor:

Hyvue Drive hasn’t been paved for 22 years. I know because we sat out on the lawn in 1997 and watched them. It is coming apart with little squares. One more winter, and I will not be able to get out of my driveway. Our end after the “curve” is worse than the first half. From the curve to the cul-de-sac, it is getting bad. We should not have to wait 22 years.

They are paving roads that have been built since then, but not ours. While we’re at it, the road in front of the Municipal Center is really disgusting. I am sure the first selectman is embarrassed. They paved the road as far as where you turn to go to the new community center, but then stopped. Why?
