TÃVRheinland Tapped As 'Best-In-Class' Provider
TÃVRheinland Tapped As
âBest-In-Classâ Provider
The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has named Newtown-based TÃVRheinland, the leading provider of testing and certification services for global companies, a Corporate Partner under its US Commercial Service Corporate Partnership Program. The designation recognizes TÃVRheinland as a strategic partner, giving the company license to aid exporters through the DOCâs US Commercial Service.
The Corporate Partnership Program works to expand the US export base through innovative Public-Private Sector Partnerships. Partners are âbest-in-classâ companies with services along the export supply chain of interest to current and potential US exporters. The program targets small- and medium-sized US businesses.
As a Corporate Partner, TÃVRheinland will join the US Commercial Service in outreach and education on all aspects of exporting.
TÃVRheinland will participate in road shows and seminars focused on industry or country-specific topics, conduct webinars, sponsor international guides and publications, and share its knowledge about global standards and regulations that are important to exporting companies.
âBeing selected a Corporate Partner by the US Commercial Service is a stamp of approval,â said Stephan Schmitt, president and CEO of TÃVRheinland. âThe programâs mission is a natural extension of TÃVRheinlandâs because we help our clients with their unique exporting needs on a daily basis. Our locations throughout the US and the world enable us to provide an insiderâs view to regulatory requirements across the globe.â
Corporate Partners are named through a competitive RFP process. The DOC only selects partners that possess a globally recognizable and strong brand, have a stake in international trade, enjoy a significant small-business customer base, and derive revenue from small business clientele selling internationally.
Other Corporate Partners include Google, PNC Bank, Comerica Bank, Zions Bank, TD Bank, City National Bank, Baker & McKenzie, FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service, and eBay.
