Rep Murphy Attending Parkinson’s Talk

Southbury — On Saturday, October 17, during a forum exclusively for Parkinson’s disease patients, their families, and advocates, Congressman Christopher Murphy (D-Fifth) and Parkinson Action Network (PAN) Connecticut State Coordinators John Zakarian and Robert Mandelkern will discuss the health care initiative in Washington, D.C., and its impact the illness.

The program, sponsored by the Parkinson’s Young Onset Support Group of Connecticut and the Southbury Support Group, will take place at the Southbury Park and Recreation Center (the former Southbury Library), 521 Main Street South, at 10:30 am.
