Paul Raimund Adams

A Model Of Love, Courage, And Hope

Paul Raimund Adams of Woodbury passed away peacefully in the arms of his mother on October 13. He was born November 17, 1985, in Danbury. Paul lived a rewarding 23 years with his family and friends in Woodbury. He was a member of the Class of 2004 of Nonnewaug High School. He is survived by his parents, Karin and Stuart Adams, his sister Kathryn, paternal grandmother, Mary Starr Adams, and maternal grandparents Raimund and Inge Kasner.

Paul battled the mucopolysaccharide condition Hunter Syndrome his entire life. Despite his limitations, he became a great artist. He enjoyed wonderful vacations and took pleasure in outdoor activities with his family. Some of his interests included karate, T-ball, bowling, and a great love for animals. Most often he could be seen laughing and giggling to a Disney movie at home in the company of friends and family.

His greatest achievement was his ability to teach people what is truly important in life. He will be remembered for his charismatic smile and a capacity for love, courage, and hope. Paul enjoyed every minute of his life.

A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, October 24, at noon at St Teresa’s Church in Woodbury. Burial is at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
