Little Britches Show At Nonnewaug Sunday

Little Britches Therapeutic Riding Program invites the public to attend the Fall Festival and Vendor Show at Nonnewag High School on Sunday, October 18 from 11 am to 4 pm. Due to anticipated rain, the event will be held at Nonnewaug High School, 5 Minortown Road in Woodbury.

This festival will celebrate the accomplishments of the 60 special needs children who ride with Little Britches. There will be demonstrations of therapeutic riding, dressage freestyles, opportunities to learn more about volunteering for Little Britches, presentations on pet first aid, horse and dog massage, and barn tours. Children’s activities will run all day and will include fall arts and crafts, games, and horse and farm-themed activities. More than 20 quality vendors will be on hand. Food will be for sale, there will be gourmet bake sale items, and seasonal pies will be sold by the slice. Music will be played all day by Root 6, the Guru, Jake Berkowitz and Dapper Zombies.
