In the years since, I have come to know Moira as one whose first response is always, “What can I do to help?” That in addition to her being one of the best listeners I’ve ever talked to makes me thrilled that she has decided to run for this important office. She brings such a “complete package” to the position. She is first, incredibly intelligent and knowledgeable. Second, she really understands people, especially the people of Newtown whom she is fully committed to. And third, she has a very special way of helping one always see the bright side of whatever it is that life is offering at the time.

Many people can bring the paper qualifications to the job of Probate Judge, but Moira will also bring a very human presence to it. I can not think of another person I would rather see upon entering the office of Probate Judge. If the people of Newtown elect Moira Rodgers to this position, they will not only be served, they will also be cared for.
