Equine Attorney To Speak At NBLA Open Meeting

The next open meeting of the Newtown Bridle Lands Association (NBLA) will be held Tuesday, October 20, at the Newtown Meeting House on Main Street at the flagpole. The meeting begins at 7:30 pm.

Doug Dubitsky, an attorney who specializes in equine law, will speak and answer questions at the meeting. Attorney Dubitsky is with Pullman & Comley in Hartford and often advises and represents horse owners in Connecticut and New York. Anyone who owns a horse will benefit from having a better understanding of the legal responsibilities that horse ownership entails.

NBLA holds monthly open meetings on the third Tuesday of each month. New members and anyone considering membership are welcome to attend. As well as supporting horse activity in the area, the NBLA works to preserve trails and open space for all.
