C.H. Booth Library will offer free chess lessons this fall for young people ages 9-12.

This is a cumulative series of five one-hour lessons, Thursday evenings, from 6 to 7 pm, beginning October 22. Students must know how to move the pieces and the basic rules of chess. The group meets in the young adult area on the second floor of the library. Boards and chess sets are provided.

Sign up online at CHBoothLibrary.org. Class size may be limited.

The classes are led by accomplished player and chess teacher, US Chess Federation Candidate Master Glenn Budzinski. Mr Budzinski also leads the Chess Club for all ages at the library on Saturday afternoons.
