‘FORM ANIMATED’ SURVEYS VESSELS, FORMS AT MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY CRAFT

AVV 10-3 #714714

PORTLAND, ORE. — The Museum of Contemporary Craft presents the exhibition, “Form Animated,” on view through November 11.

Guest curated by Rose Bond, this collection of films explores the relationship between vessels and forms through animation. Breaking the boundaries between two- and three-dimensional space, the program raises questions about how animation can be viewed as craft, and also as a means of understanding craft in contemporary culture.

Participating Artists include Karen Aqua and Jeanée Redmond, Rose Bond, Jim Blashfield and Christine Bourdette, Paul Bush, Norman McLaren and Joanna Priestley.

The museum is at 724 Northwest Davis Street. For general information, 503-223-2654 or www.MuseumofContemporaryCraft.org.
