Exploring American Sculpture

DANBURY — Wooster Community Art Center (WCAC) is offering a three-session workshop entitled “Exploring American Sculpture” beginning on Monday, November 6, and continuing on November 13 and 20. The class will run from 7-9 pm each week and is part of an ongoing art history program offered at the art center.

The course will explore neo-classical sculptors along with well known 19th and 20th Century sculptors.

The instructor will be Dr Virginia Bush. Dr Bush received her PhD in art history from Columbia University, and is a fellow of the American Academy in Rome. She has lectured widely on Renaissance, Baroque and modern art.

Fee for the workshop is $45 per person. Pre-registration is required to reserve a place.
