Local veterans are invited to attend a Newtown High School, 12 Berkshire Road, Veterans Day Luncheon and Program on Friday, November 11.

The luncheon will begin at 11:20 am in the school's main gymnasium and the program will follow at 12:35 pm in the NHS auditorium. Those interested in attending should RSVP by November 1 by e-mailing gehrkenr@newtown.k12.ct.us or calling 203-426-7667, extension 6559.

The program will include recognition of local veterans, musical performances by the NHS Chamber Choir, NHS Singers, and NHS Wind Ensemble.
