The Sandy Hook Volunteer Fire & Rescue Ladies Auxiliary has rescheduled a paper shredding event originally planned for early October.

The event is now planned for Saturday, November 6. It will again run from 9 am until noon at the pavilion behind the firehouse at 18-20 Riverside Road.

The rain-or-shine event will be set up to comply with social distancing guidelines.

Cost is $10 per file box or paper shopping bag, increasing in $5 increments according to container.
