Natural History Myths And Legends

DERBY – Kellogg Environmental Center will host the program “Natural History Myths and Legends” on Saturday, October 23, at 6 pm.

Ever wonder what is true about bats? Do wolves attack humans? Why are spiders so hairy? Learn the truth behind these and other myths about animals, and hear legends of Connecticut in this special evening program for all ages. Special surprises are in store for everyone.

All children must be accompanied by an adult. The program is free but registration is required; call 734-2513. The center, operated by the DEPs Office of Communications and Education, is at 500 Hawthorne Avenue (Route 34), in Derby.
